  I've had a terrific weekend here ---enjoying the place as never before, and confident that when it's all pulled together, I will be very pleased indeed. Actually, I'm very pleased already. It is simply wonderful to have someone like you doing this work. I've been able to just put it all out of my mind while I'm down there being Super-Granny.

I'd hoped to see you tomorrow, but now I'm informed that my daughter's Doctor's appointment has been changed and I've gotta get back down there in a hurry, leaving on an early train Monday. (Imagine caring for a newborn plus a 21-month-old who she cannot pick up. At all.)

About the upstairs bath: The Kraftmaid cabinets need to be installed on the floor, before the tile. The tile work on the floor will have the effect of lowering the counter surface. That's a good thing. (Plus, that's how I measured the job.) I can't remember if we even talked about this ...

W/r/t the tile work around the tub, another thing I may not of talked to you about is how the tile-work intersects the tub. I want the tiles to overlap the tub edges so that the shower will drain into the tub, not beneath it. Does that make sense? (I'm too tired from my lovely Mother's Day weekend to even think straight.)
